Tasting notes

Vintage 2021 :

This vintage offers a wine with aromas of fresh fruit, redcurrant and strawberry, accompanied by a subtle woody note. On the palate, silky tannins give the wine exceptional roundness. This cuvée will accompany your charcuterie/cheese platters, but also any type of white meat, especially a nice roast chicken! Drink within 10 years.

Vintage 2020 :

A vintage with a brilliant garnet-red color, revealing a delicious nose of ripe black berries and sweet spices. This elegant, well-balanced wine, with toasty tannins, is smooth on the palate, with juicy, concentrated fruit. Beautiful structure and excellent ageing potential.

Vintage 2019 :

This brilliant garnet-red cuvée is dominated by fruity blackberry and black cherry aromas, with spicy notes. Pleasantly structured on the palate, this wine combines charm and liveliness, with a long, fresh, spicy finish. This well-balanced cuvée is the perfect accompaniment to guinea fowl stuffed with porcini mushrooms or a creamy, characterful cheese. Good ageing potential.

Vintage 2018:

This garnet-red vintage offers a bouquet of black fruit with blueberry and cherry aromas, evolving towards toasty, spicy pepper notes.
The palate is generous and concentrated, yet structured by silky tannins. This enveloping texture retains the freshness of fresh fruit and a lovely ripeness. Long finish. Good ageing potential.

1. Grape varieties

72% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon,
10% cabernet franc, 3% malbec

2. Soils

The soil is composed of dry gravel
and the subsoil is clayey-silty-gravelly
with traces of iron oxide known as “iron dross”.

4. Vineyard work

The vineyard is cultivated in the traditional way with plot management: ploughing the soil,

The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then cold-macerated for five days to extract maximum aromas. Visit

6.breeding

The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months and bottled at the estate.
