The property has been a family business for several generations and has constantly grown and developed to reach its present size of 20 hectares,1.3 hectares of which bear the Bordeaux appellation.

Traditional vineyard practises, such as ploughing and inter-row grassing, are combined with modern wine-making tools such as temperature control equipment and a pneumatic press to ensure that Château des Moines offers wines of great finesse.

Richly coloured, they combine aromatic complexity with a full-bodied structure.

The range of grape varieties used (Merlot 72%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15%, Cabernet Franc 10% and Malbec 3%) ensures the production of wine with an exceptional pallet of aromas and great potential for ageing.

Each year, significant investment in new French oak barrels adds to the quality of the new vintage.
